Mobile Book Bin Literacy Project
Over 4,000 books were collected to distribute to 700 families. For many Paterson families, the public library may not be a viable option. Home-library starter kits were distributed just in time for Spring Break.
Christmas Toy Drive
Many 3rd & 4th grade newcomers celebrated their first winter in the United States. Donations from teachers and the Lady's Guild of St. Francis helped ensure all letters to the North Pole were answered this year.
Don't Just Fly...Soar!
Mr. Velante's students published their testimonies on "Why I Came to America". Sample entries were read at the Wanaque Library in November 2018. Copies may now be borrowed at the Wanaque Public Library. His classes are currently trying to have their book included into the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
